Man Hospitalized After his Motorcycle Collides with Deer
An Eastern Iowa man is recovering from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle slammed into a deer in rural Linn County over the weekend.
At about 6am Sunday (June 3), the Linn County Sheriff, Fairfax Fire, and Area Ambulance were notified of a motorcycle accident on Highway 30 eastbound and 80th Street, north of Fairfax.
64 year old James Doyl of Cedar Rapids was driving east on 30, when his motorcycle collided with a deer on the road.
Doyl was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
