Man Falls from Bridge and Dies from the Injuries

Authorities in Allamakee County are investigating an incident in which a man died after falling off a bridge.

The sheriff was called early Sunday, on the report of a man falling from a bridge. The incident happened at about 1:30am on a bridge on Orchid Drive, near the intersection with Highway 76, south of Dorchester.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, fell from the bridge and died as a result of his injuries.

The Allamakee County Sheriff notes that no foul play is suspected, but it remains under investigation.
