Man Booked on Arrest Warrant Also Faces Meth Charge

A Northeast Iowa man, being booked into the Winneshiek County jail, faces more charges after authorities found methamphetamine in his possession.

At about 12:30am Saturday (Oct. 20), Clayton County deputies arrested 34 year old Peter Torres of Luana. He was taken into custody in Postville on a Winneshiek County warrant for Not Having a Valid Driver's License.

After being transferred to Winneshiek County, jailers found methamphetamine in Torres' possession.

Torres was then charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)-3rd or Subsequent Offense.
