
Man Arrested for Shooting Gun Inside a Rural Maynard Home
A Maynard man faces charges for allegedly firing a gun inside a home, with people present.
The Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call at just before midnight Friday (April 26), reporting that an intoxicated man was handling a gun at a residence on 80th Street, south of Maynard.
When deputies arrived, they determined that 33 year old Jerry Bond Jr. had fired off a gun, hitting the wall of the residence, while others were present. No one was injured.
Bond was taken into custody on a charge of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon.
Bond was released after posting bond.
