
Man Arrested for Harboring Wis. Runaways in Waukon
Police have arrested a Northeast Iowa man, for allegedly letting 2 runaway juveniles to live in his home in Waukon.
On Wednesday (May 23), the Waukon Police Department was notified that 2 missing teens from LaCrosse, Wisconsin, were staying at a residence at 61 Jean Road in Waukon.
Waukon Police officers and the Iowa State Patrol responded, and found the runaway juveniles at the home.
As a result, 19 year old Alex Voves was taken into custody on 2 counts of Harboring a Runaway, and Interference with Official Acts.
The Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital Ambulance assisted Waukon Police and the state patrol.
