Man Arrested for Assault and Other Charges in Oelwein

Oelwein Police have arrested a Tama man on assault and other charges.

Just before 11:30pm Wednesday (Sept. 2), following an incident in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue SE, 47 year old Shannon Hersh was taken into custody.

Hersh is being charged with Assault-Serious Misdemeanor, Assault-Simple Misdemeanor, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
