Man Arrested After Disturbance in Oelwein

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man following an incident Sunday (May 15) evening.

Just before 6:30pm Sunday, officers were called out to a disturbance in the 100 block of 4th Avenue SE.

51 year old Jeffrey Woods of Oelwein was taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct, enhanced public intoxication, and assault with a weapon.
