Local Woman Cited After Early Morning Traffic Stop

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on outstanding warrants.

At about 10:15pm Saturday (Nov. 24), Oelwein Police took 25 year old Mykala Meike on 2 Fayette County warrants, for Failure to Appear in Court on Show Cause Hearings.

An Oelwein man was arrested last Sunday, for Domestic Abuse-Assault, in the 300 block of 1st Avenue NW. 31 year old Dillon Sommerfelt was taken into custody by Oelwein Police.

In a traffic stop early this morning (Nov. 26), an Oelwein resident was cited for a traffic infraction. At about 12:30am, Oelwein Police performed a traffic stop in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE. The driver, 27 year old Maryann Bockenstadt, was cited, then released, on a charge of Driving While her License is Suspended.
