Local Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on outstanding warrants from Fayette County.

On Monday (July 6), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office took 24 year old Kristen Arends into custody on 2 valid warrants, for Failure to Appear on a Driving While License Suspended charge, and Failure to Have Financial Liability.

Arends was taken to the Fayette County jail, and held on $600 cash or surety bond, pending an initial court appearance.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff assisted the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
