Local Woman Arrested for Serious Forgery Charges

A local woman has been arrested on outstanding warrants regarding several charges of forgery.

On January 1st, while investigating a different incident, the Fayette County Sheriff took 26 year old Nicole Burgos of Oelwein into custody,

Burgos has warrants from Buchanan and Black Hawk Counties, for multiple counts of Forgery, including some felony-level charges.

She was taken to the Fayette County jail, then later transferred to Buchanan County.
