Local Woman Arrested for Black Hawk, Buchanan Warrants

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on outstanding warrants concerning weapons, methamphetamine, and theft.

At about 3:45pm Thursday (Aug. 2), following an incident in the 1300 block of South Frederick, Oelwein Police took 37 year old Amanda Carson into custody on a Black Hawk County warrant for Carrying of Weapons and Possession of Methamphetamine-1st Offense.

Carson also had 2 Buchanan County Warrants for Violation of Pretrial Release, as well as Theft 5th Degree, Interference with Official Acts, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
