Local Teen Charged in Alleged Assault

Oelwein Police have referred a local teenager to authorities in an alleged assault.
At about 10am Friday (March 4th), Oelwein officers were called to the 400 block of 2nd Avenue NW on the report of a disturbance.

As a result, 15 year old Jade Miller of Oelwein was referred to Juvenile Court Authorities on 2 counts of assault causing injury; the charge is a serious misdemeanor.
