Local Sheriff’s Office Gets New “Eye in the Sky”
One Northeast Iowa law enforcement agency has added another high-tech device to it's tool box.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office has acquired a new drone.
The small aircraft will be used for searches, investigating accident scenes, special events, and other applications.
The drone was purchased using drug forfeiture money, so it cost local taxpayers nothing.
The sheriff suggests local residents watch the Fayette County Sheriff's Facebook page for live feeds using the new drone.
