Local Man Arrested on Warrant Stemming from Drug Charges

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant, involving drug charges.
At about 6pm Monday, 26 year old Benito Trevino was taken into custody by Oelwein Police, on a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant for a probation violation.

The original charges were prohibited acts-manufacturing, delivery, conspiracy or possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, less than 5 grams.
