Local Man Arrested on Warrant; Plus a Theft Investigation

Oelwein Police report that a local man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Shortly after 2pm Saturday (Dec. 23), 21 year old Seth Rohrick of Oelwein was taken into custocy on a Fayette County warrant after an interaction with an officer in the 100 block of 4th Avenue NE. The original charge was Criminal Mischief-3rd Degree.

Oelwein Police are also looking into a theft report. Authorities received a complaint of a theft in the 400 block of West Charles, just after 9pm Sunday (Dec. 24). The incident remains under investigation.
