Local Man Arrested for Assault in Oran

An Oelwein man faces an assault charge following a weekend incident in Oran.

At about 8:30pm Saturday (March 14), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a domestic disturbance in Oran.

After an investigation, authorities arrested 19 year old Damien Dugan of Oelwein; he is being charged with Domestic Abuse Assault.

Dugan was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.
