Local Man Arrested for a Domestic Assault Incident

An area man has been arrested on an assault charge.

Oelwein Police were called out to an incident in the 400 block of 4th Avenue SE early this morning (Wednesday, Dec. 27).

There, they took 40 year old Donald Lathum Jr. of Oelwein into custody on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault, which is a Simple Misdemeanor.
