Local Man Arrested After Motorcycle Accident

An Oelwein man has been arrested, following a one-vehicle, property damage accident in Oelwein early Sunday morning (May 27).

At about 4am, Oelwein Police were called to the accident scene in the 2500 block of South Frederick Avenue.

During the investigation, 37 year old Justin Kuenen was taken into custody on charges of Driving While Barred, Failure to Have SR22 Insurance, and Failure to Have an Ignition Interlock Device. Kuenen was also cited for No Motorcycle License, and Failure to Maintain Control.

No injuries were reported.
