Local Folks Injured in Wisconsin Cycle Accident
Two Northeast Iowa residents are recovering from injuries in a motorcycle accident in Southwest Wisconsin.
It happened at about 4pm Monday (Sept. 4), just east of Gays Mills, in Crawford County. 41 year old Jeremy Shannon of Fayette was operating a motorcycle on Highway 171, when his cycle tipped as he was negotiating a sharp downhill curve.
The motorcycle slid across the opposite lane, then struck a guardrail.
Shannon and a passenger, 41 year old Jodi Druecker of Sumner, were taken to an area hospital for treatment. There was no word on their condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
