Area residents and health care providers concerned about Medicaid privatization, are invited to a listening post in Oelwein this afternoon, led by State Senator Brian Schoenjahn of Arlington.
The meeting will be held at the Oelwein Public Library from 4pm to 5:30pm today (Wednesday, June 29).

Schoenjahn say that Iowa care providers are reporting that they are struggling to be paid, by the for-profit corporations that took over administration of health care services.

Over a half-million Iowans are signed up for Medicaid.

Again, today's meeting will be held from 4-5:30pm at the Oelwein Public Library.
