LaPorte City Driver Charged in Westgate Accident

A northeast Iowa motorist is being charged with causing a one-vehicle rollover in Fayette County.

It happened at about 6am Sunday on Hollywood Street in Westgate. 26 year old Lyndsay Gloede of LaPorte City was driving a Ford Escape eastbound, when she lost control and the vehicle rolled onto it's side in the ditch.

No one was injured, but the vehicle was totaled.

Gloede was charged with failure to maintain control.
