Lamont Driver Arrested After Fayette Co. Accident

A Lamont driver was taken to jail, after putting her vehicle in the ditch in rural Fayette County.

The incident happened at about 6:30pm Friday (March 22), in the area of 20th Street and Highway 187, south of Arlington.

50 year old Victoria Lahey of Lamont, pulled into a farm drive to turn around, then backed her vehicle into the ditch.

No one was injured. Lahey was charged with Operating While Intoxicated-2nd Offense, and Failure to Maintain Control. Lahey was held until her initial court appearance.
