Jailer Injured, Inmate Charged

An inmate in the Fayette County jail, faces more charges for allegedly injuring a detention officer.

The incident happened on October 3rd at the sheriff''s office in West Union. . The officer, who was not identified, was injured and treated for minor injuries.

Following an investigation, Gregory A. Peck was charged with interference with a corrections official, which is a felony.
