Fans from all across the country were clamoring for tickets to an exciting preseason matchup where the WNBA Rookie of the Year and former Iowa Hawkeye would return to her old stomping grounds.

Indiana Fever Set for Special Preseason Game in Iowa City
In late January, news broke about an exciting homecoming for one of Iowa's favorite basketball players.
The Indiana Fever are set to play a special preseason game in the arena where Caitlin Clark shattered records and made history as a collegiate player.
This spring, the 2024 underdog team is heading out to Iowa City. They will play a preseason matchup against the Brazilian National Team on Sunday, May 4th in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
How Quickly Did Tickets Sell Out?
The tickets for this special game were available for purchase through the University of Iowa and Hawkeyesports.com.
Those who were interested in attending the game, were limited to four tickets per person, according to an earlier report.
Kinnick Society Gold and Kinnick Society I-Club level donors and Iowa women's basketball season ticket holders got to get their hands on tickets before everyone else during a special presale on Thursday, February 27th.
The presale went live at 9:00 AM
In less than 40 minutes, all of the 15,000 tickets were sold out.
If you want to try your luck with tickets from a third party website like SeatGeek, StubHub, or even VividSeats, you'll have to pay up.
