Floyd of Rosedale is coming back to Iowa City!

This past Saturday (September 21), the Iowa Hawkeyes improved to 3-1 with a complete beatdown of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. After last year's controversial "fair catch" call, the Iowa Hawkeyes left no doubt at Huntington Bank Stadium, leaving Minnesota with a 31-14 victory.

While the Iowa Hawkeyes have added another win to this 133-year-old rivalry...this might not be the biggest Iowa Hawkeyes news from this weekend! If you have a smartphone, there was a time this summer when Hailey Welch took over the internet.

Kirk Ferentz Appearing On Talk Tuah Podcast?!

I will start by saying that I've searched every corner of the internet and I cannot confirm or deny if this post is true or if BarstoolUIowa is trolling the internet. I wonder if this post is real or not because you can find a similar post about the Iowa State Cyclone football Coach on the BarstoolISU Instagram page...

While both of these posts could be made up, the thought of Kirk Ferentz sitting down and talking on the "Talk Tuah" podcast makes me laugh out loud. This will either be the greatest interview in the history of interviews or it will end up being a complete dumpster fire, there's no in-between.

Hailey is in her early 20s, she's from Tennessee and has gained internet fame in the past 2 months. Kirk Ferentz on the other hand...is 69 years old and has been a college football coach for the past 34 years. For 25 seasons, he's been the head coach of the Iowa Hawkeye football team and while I'm sure he's familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, I have a hard time believing he spends much time scrolling through these various social media apps.

Honestly, I doubt Kirk Ferentz knows who Hailey is. If he does appear on her podcast, this will be a must-watch episode for Iowa Hawkeye fans. Maybe Hailey will get Ferentz to open up and it could be a fun and insightful interview. It also might be a complete trainwreck that you can't help but keep watching.
