Sweet-As-Can-Be Star is Your ‘Pet of the Week’ Via the Dubuque Humane Society
Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.
This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Star, a three-year-old pup who is 51 pounds, and sweet-as-can-be! She is cuddly and affectionate with her favorite people, and relaxing is her favorite activity.

There's a Lot to Love About Star:
In addition to loving her relaxation time, she enjoys food. She is very treat-motivated, which is helpful with her training. However, she's already crate-trained and actually prefers to sleep in it, complete with her soft bed. She voluntarily goes into her crate just to hang out and relax.
When it comes to toys, Star's favorites include chew toys and stuffed toys as well. She's always down for a game of fetch, and is exceptional with kids and other dogs alike. She might get a bit anxious around new dogs or people in general, but once she warms up, she will cling to you like a loyal companion.
