A New Restaurant is Replacing Bandana’s Bar-B-Q in Cedar Rapids
A brand new restaurant is set to take over a former BBQ joint in Cedar Rapids! Victory Social Club plans to open at 3707 1st Ave SE later this summer.
About Victory Social Club
According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette and the CR Pulse, Victory Social Club is a new restaurant headed up by John Lillibridge, a local restauranteur that also runs Goldfinch Tap + Eatery in Marion. It has moved into the building that was most recently home to Bandana’s Bar-B-Q, which closed its doors back in January of this year after 9 years. It was the chain's only Iowa location, but there are still plenty of other locations in its home state of Missouri, as well as Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Victory Social Club is described on Facebook as "an upscale sports bar where elevated cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and every big game come together in one unforgettable atmosphere." It promises a premium dining experience, an extensive collection of spirits and signature cocktails, and wall-to-wall TVs. Owner John Lillibridge says that the goal is to “bring back the social environment that restaurants used to have.”
The Grand Opening
We don't have an official menu or opening date for the new Victory Social Club yet, but the Gazette reports that the aim it to have it open in mid-August. For the latest information, including "exclusive sneak peeks, grand opening announcements, and special offers," you can follow the new restaurant's official Facebook page HERE.

Victory Social Club isn't the only new addition to the Town & Country Shopping Center this year! A new French bakery and cafe called Café Déjà Vu just opened its doors in May and has been getting rave reviews! You can read more about that new eatery HERE.
