A pair of comedy legends and longtime friends are coming back to Iowa this fall! It doesn't get much funnier than Steve Martin and Martin Short, especially when they are performing together!

Comedy Duo Coming to Des Moines

CBS2 reports that Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their hilarious show back to Des Moines for a show at the Des Moines Center for the Performing Arts on October 11th. The show will blend standup, storytelling, music, and plenty of banter and barbs from both Martin and Short! When these two get together, anything is possible, as evidenced by their two-man show that aired on Netflix!

Legends of Film and Television

Who doesn't have a favorite Steve Martin movie? I'll go first. Give me 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles'. But for you perhaps it's 'Father of the Bride', 'The Jerk', or 'Dirty, Rotten, Scoundrels'.

Martin Short has a comedic style all his own. After getting his start on Second City TV, the Canadian actor starred on Saturday Night Live and appeared with Steve Martin in films like 'Father of the Bride' and 'Three Amigos'. CBS2 also points out that the two have gained even more popularity in recent years, thanks to the series 'Only Murders in the Building' where they team up with co-star Selena Gomez.

Tickets to see Steve Martin and Martin Short on October 11th in Des Moines go on sale Friday, February 13th, at 10 a.m. You can purchase your tickets HERE.
