Beer lovers will want to head back to Marion this month for the annual Oktoberfest celebration!
When is Oktoberfest in Marion?
The Marion Chamber of Commerce announced that the 5th annual Marion Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 19th, in Uptown Marion. The event will welcome breweries from around the state of Iowa and the Midwest, offering samples of a variety of different beers. You'll be able to try something new or sample your favorites!
Enjoy Live Entertainment at Oktoberfest
Along with plenty of beer, you can enjoy Oktoberfest activities like hammerschlagen, keg rolling, and a traditional stein-holding competition! There will also be live music by Lyle Beaver and the Brass Notes. There is also a new event at Oktoberfest in 2026. Get ready for the Weiner Sprintzel!
The Weiner Sprintzel is a short foot race where competitors run while dressed as a hot dog. A $100 gift card to Uptown Snug is on the line. The race gets underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th!
Where Can I Get Tickets For Oktoberfest?
Tickets for Marion Oktoberfest are on sale HERE. General admission tickets are $40 with access to the breweries starting at noon. VIP tickets are $60 and allow you access to the breweries at 11 a.m. You'll also get a VIP tasting glass and a coupon for a PretzelMaker pretzel.
Proceeds from Oktoberfest will help fund the Marion Winter Lights program, which lights up the city during the holiday season.
Marion Oktoberfest is a 21-and-over event.
