Jesup Farmers Day kicks off with a complimentary pork burger and chips courtesy of the Jesup Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 20th near the pavilion. 

A highlight in Jesup will be this event

The highlight of the event is the Farmers Day Parade on Saturday, June 22nd, featuring the chance to win the $250 Sweepstakes Grand Prize sponsored by the Jesup Chamber of Commerce. First-place winners in each entry category will receive $40, with $15 awarded for second place. Judging criteria include originality, creativity, theme-appropriateness, and effort. Parade winners will be announced at the Park Pavilion at 6:30 PM on Saturday. For more information, visit 

Jesup Farmers Day also features the "Hole in the Sock Gang," known for their Old West street performances in McGregor, Iowa. The event starts with the Children's Parade on Thursday, June 20th, with the lineup at 6:15 PM and the parade commencing at 6:30 PM from the Methodist Church parking lot. All participants will receive free ride tickets and ribbons.

Three days of fun

Attendees can enjoy live music at the pavilion stage adjacent to the beer garden, open from 6 PM to closing on Thursday and Friday, and from noon to closing on Saturday. The Domestic Art Show will be held at the city hall basement on June 22nd from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with check-in on June 19th from 3:30 to 6:30 PM, and prize distribution on June 22nd from 3:30 to 4:00 PM. 

Last but not least

Finally, join the festivities on June 22nd at the Land of Corn Pavilion to welcome Branson Artist Bill Chrastil. Additionally, witness the 2024 Jesup Farmers Day Prince & Princess contestants in action starting at 7:05 PM on June 20th, following the Mayor's Welcome speech. All contestants will receive free carnival ride tickets.
