PinSeekers is another step closer to adding another golf entertainment venue to Eastern Iowa.

The Corridor Business Journal reports that the Dubuque Racing Association Board of Directors approved a proposal that recommends a partnership with PinSeekers to build a golf venue on Chaplain Schmitt Island. The golf entertainment company already has facilities in Tiffin and DeForest, Wisconsin. The CBJ reports that the proposed Dubuque facility would include a driving range with smart green technology for use day and night year-round. Other features being considered include:

  • 40 all-weather luxury golf suites
  • 18-hole indoor mini golf course
  • Top Tracer Technology
  • Full Swing Pro Series Simulators featuring more than 30 courses.
  • A restaurant and bar
  • Rooftop lounge
  • Event and meeting spaces

The CBJ reports that the decision to move forward with the PinSeekers project is part of a larger plan for Schmitt Island. Other projects include the Iowa Amphitheater and the Island Social family entertainment area at Q Casino + Resort.
