Its Game Over For Over A Dozen Iowa Lottery Games

Throughout the year, the Iowa Lottery replaces its games with new ones. The Iowa Lottery has announced its latest set of ending games, which is expected to close on October 31.

According to a release from the Iowa Lottery, these games include: “5 Spot,” “9s In A Line XL,” “Word Match,” “$50,000 Classic Black,” “$20 Grand,” “Baseball Winnings,” “Win It All,” “Multiplier Mania,” “Holly Jolly Luck,” “$100,000 Holiday Crossword,” “Snowball Cash,” “Peas Be A Winner,” “Lucky Green,” and “Reindeer Games.”

Iowans are reminded to claim their prizes at an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the lottery’s offices in Clive, Cedar Rapids, Mason City, or Storm Lake.

The Iowa Lottery has been making headlines a lot lately.

The last of the Iowa Lottery’s original employees, Larry Loss, announced he is retiring after almost 40 years in the business.

Loss marked his 37th year with the organization this week, on July 28. He is going to be retiring on August 18^th.

And then in the last week, there was the Northeast Iowan who just won big playing the Lucky for Life game. The winning lottery ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Black Hawk County this past Sunday and the lucky winner gets to claim $25,000 a year for the rest of their life.

Also in the last week, a Bettendorf man also won big.

Keon Davis, 29, of Bettendorf, won the second top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Cash Creator" scratch game winning $10,000.
