Iowa City Named In Top 50 Best Places To Flip A House

If you are a fan or have seen the HGTV show 'Flip or Flop,' you’ve probably figured out it is a ton of work to flip a house, but the profit can be huge if you put in the time and, of course, money. Sure, the process isn’t as easy as the professionals on television make it look, but it can be worth it. Any experienced home flipper would caution you that morphing a fixer-upper into a profitable property is a difficult process.

According to the folks at the website WalletHub, Iowa has one of the top 50 cities for profiting off of a house flip. That town, Cedar Rapids. Ranking in at 46 on their list, Cedar Rapids is one of the cheapest for renovation and remodeling costs.

The overall best city for flipping is Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the absolute worst city? That 'honor' goes to Bridgetown, Connecticut which finished 172nd on the list.
