Inmate Missing After Furlough Expires

Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a missing inmate.

28 year old Katie Edgerly had failed to return to the Linn County Correctional Center in Cedar Rapids, following a court ordered furlough. Edgerly was released on March 13th, on a ten day furlough; however, she did not come back to the Linn County jail as scheduled, on March 23rd.

Edgerly had been serving a 120 day sentence for contempt of court. There were only 44 days left to do on her sentence.

Edgerly is described as a white female, 5'7", weighing about 170 lbs.
