Indy Man Arrested on Prescription Drug Violation

The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office arrested an Independence man last week, on drug and other charges.

At about 2:45pm Thursday (Nov. 15), officers took 37 year old Chad Cummings into custody, in the 100 block of Fifth Avenue NE in Independence.

Cummings faces charges of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Trespass.

Cummings was also arrested on an active arrest warrant from Linn County.
