Incidents in Hazleton Result in 2 Separate Arrests

An Independence man faces several charges for an incident last month.

On Thursday, May 31st at about 10:30pm, 53 yeasr old Donald Clontz was taken into custody for an incident that happened in the 200 block of North Madison Street in Hazleton. Clontz is being charged with second degree Burglary, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Violation of Protection Order, Assault, Trespass and fifth degree Criminal Mischief.

A Hazleton man has been arrested that happened last week. 37 year old Justin Kuennen is being charged with Interference with Official Acts Causing Injury. The incident occurred in the 200 block of First Street North in Hazleton. The Buchanan County Sheriff was assisted by the sheriff's K-9 unit and the Iowa State Patrol.
