
Icy Highway Causes Accident in Bremer County
Slick driving conditions are being blamed for causing a two-vehicle accident in Bremer County.
It happened shortly after 7:30am Wednesday (Jan. 3) in the 2700 block of Highway 63, south of Denver.

A southbound pickup driven by 79 year old Charles Hay of Denver, went out of control on the ice-coated road, and crossed through the median into the northbound lanes of the highway.
Hay's pickup was struck broadside by a car driven by 68 year old Joyce Pelton of Waterloo.
No one was injured.
The Bremer County Sheriff was assisted by Del's Towing of Readlyn.
