Head-on Crash Near Robins Seriously Injures Driver
Two people have been injured, one of them seriously, in a head-on crash near Robins.
The Linn County Sheriff was called out just before 5pm Monday (June 1) to the intersection of County Home Road and North Center Point Road.
A westbound car driven by 19 year old Morgan Martin of Alburnett, collided head on with an SUV driven by 64 year old Lonnie Clark of Center Point.
Clark was not wearing a seat belt. He had to be flown to University Hospitals in Iowa City with life-threatening injuries.
Martin was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle.
The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
