What do you get when you combine two of the most popular American foods? A new delicious-looking snack courtesy of Guy Fieri!

The big Field of Dreams game in Dyersville is coming up this week, and baseball fans across the country will all have their eyes on Iowa. This is the first MLB game to take place in Iowa, and it's gearing up to be quite the event. Fox has all sorts of fun planned for the live broadcast (which you can read more about HERE), but lucky fans who actually attend the game are in for a special treat!

According to an article from the NY Post, legendary chef Guy Fieri has come up with an unique new food combination that will be served to fans during Thursday night's game. It's called the "Apple Pie Hot Dog." The article reads:

"An unlikely marriage of two good ol’ American favorites, it’s a starting lineup of one juicy beef hot dog smothered in Fieri’s own bacon jam, 'enveloped' in flaky pie crust and then topped with an apple mustard drizzle, demerara sugar and apple pie spice."

Guy actually posted a video of himself making the treat, which was created as part of his new partnership with Chevrolet. That way, if you're not going to be attending the big game, you could just attempt to make it yourself! You can check out the video with the official recipe below:

What do you think? Does the Apple Pie Hot Dog sound good? Or just plain gross? Let us know in the comments!
