A trailer loaded with corn, made a bit of a mess on a Fayette County road, after it's axles broke as a farmer was hauling grain.


It happened at about 1:30pm Tuesday (Oct. 16), near the intersection of "O" Avenue and Highway 93, north of Maynard.

58 year old Robert Fagle of Randalia was driving a tractor southbound on "O" Avenue, when the axles broke on a trailer that he was pulling, loaded with corn.

The trailer broke down on the highway, spilling some of it's corn on the road.

No one was injured; damages were estimated at $3,000.

The accident was covered by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
