Free Car Seat Checkup Available Today

The local Parent Share and Support organization, along with the Iowa Department of Public Health, are sponsoring a Car Seat Checkup Event in Oelwein this afternoon (Thursday, May 19), from 3:30-6pm.

The location will be the Oelwein Community Plaza's parking lot.

The checkup is free. Helping out will be the Oelwein Police Department, and Buckle Bear.

This is a time to make sure your child's car seat or booster seat is installed in your vehicle in a proper, safe manner.
