WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Five teenagers have been arrested for allegedly robbing a food delivery driver in east Waterloo after calling an order.

Police were called to a robbery in progress around 8 p.m. Friday at a vacant house.

Sgt. Andrew Clark says a driver from an Evansdale restaurant delivered to the house and was robbed of food and money. He says a handgun was used in the incident.

Nineteen-year-old Isaiah Zacharias, a 17-year-old female, two 17-year-old males and a 15-year-old male have been charged with second-degree robbery.

Zacharias and the 17-year-old female are also charged with third-degree burglary. Zacharias also faces an interfering without causing injury charge.

All of the suspects except the 15-year-old were being held in Black Hawk County jail in lieu of bonds more than $100,000 each.
