Following a Search, Area Man Arrested on Meth Charges

An area man has been arrested on illegal drug charges.

On Monday (March 6), the Winneshiek County Sheriff executed a search warrant at a residence in Fort Atkinson.

Authorities then arrested 33 year old Dustin Severson of Fort Atkinson on 2 Counts of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, both Class "C" Felonies.

Severson had a warrant on a controlled substance abuse violation with a $25,000 cash bond. He was held in the Winneshiek County jail.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
