Officials from the Iowa Lottery have revealed that a Fayette County woman has won a considerable amount of money, playing one of the popular scratch games.

Woodward travelled to the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office to claim her $50,000 top prize. Woodward was apparently the first person to win one of the top prizes in the new $5 scratch game.

There are a total of seven top prizes, with the overall odds of 1 in 3.44 to win.
