Fire Reported at Old Gas Station in Lamont

Buchanan County authorities are looking for the cause of an early morning fire in Lamont.

Fire crews were called out just before 4am today (Feb. 8) to a former gas station in Lamont. The building is located on Pine Street.

Fire departments from Lamont, Dundee and Strawberry Point responded.

There was no indication of any injuries, or if any property of value was lost. Fire crews were on scene until just before 6am today.

The building had been an old gas station, but it's current purpose was not available.
