Fayette Sheriff Makes Arrests in Misc. Incidents
A one-vehicle accident early this morning (Thursday, May 27) near Sumner, has resulted in the arrest of the driver.
Shortly after 12:30am, the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on 160th Street, a mile east of Sumner. There were no injuries reported.
Responding deputies arrested the driver, 26 year old Katlin Wood of Sumner on charges of Operating While Intoxicated-3rd Offense, Driving While Barred, Failure to Maintain Control, and Failure to have SR-22 Insurance.
Wood was taken to the Fayette County jail and held until his initial court appearance.

An Oelwein man was arrested Wednesday, and taken to the Fayette County jail for drug charges. 50 year old Steven Michael Jones was arrested by Oelwein Police on drug charges. He was also found to be in possession of more illegal substances when he entered the correctional facility. Jones faces an additional charge of Introducing contraband into a correctional facility. He is being held in the Fayette County jail in West Union.

And shortly after 4pm Monday, officers were called to the 400 block of James Street in Arlington, for a domestic disturbance. Responding deputies were given names and possible locations. Deputies then arrested 24 year old Keith Ohlhauser of Arlington, for Driving While Revoked, Possession of Marijuana-2nd Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The incident remains under investigation, and more charges are pending.
