Fayette Sheriff Arrests Man Wanted on Warrant

The Fayette County Sheriff has arrested an area man on an outstanding warrant.

23 year old Brandon Williams of West Union was taken into custody Wednesday (Sept. 13) when the Fayette County Sheriff served a warrant for Voluntary Absence From Custody. Williams was held in the Fayette County jail on $5,000 bond.

Deputies were called out to a traffic accident involving a deer early Wednesday morning. Just before 4:30am, the Fayette County Sheriff was notified by 911 call of a car/deer accident on 190th Street, west of Fayette.

21 year old Ryan Peyton of West Union was driving west when a deer ran out onto the road. No one was injured, but there was $3,000 in damages to the 2005 Chrysler 300.
