Fayette Sheriff Arrests 3 Local Residents on Various Charges
Two area residents have been arrested after authorities were called to a disturbance near the city of Waucoma.
The incidence was reported at about 12:30am Saturday morning (April 3).
Following an investigation, deputies arrested 37 year old Jacob Simpkins of Waucoma, and 32 year old Emily McLaughlin, also of Waucoma. Simpkins is being charged with Child Endangerment Causing Bodily Injury, and McLaughlin was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. No injuries were reported, but both suspects were taken to the Fayette County jail, to await initial court appearances.
A Postville woman has been taken into custody after a routine traffic stop on a traffic infraction, about four miles northeast of Clermont on Harding Road.
The stop was made by Fayette County deputies at about 12:20am Sunday morning. 24 year old Kunickshal Robinson was arrested for Driving While her License is Suspended. She was also held until her first court appearance.
