Fayette Sheriff Arrests 2 Women in Separate Incidents
The Fayette County Sheriff has arrested two area women Saturday night, on separate offenses.
A Readlyn woman, accused of trying to take away an officer's weapon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
On Saturday (Aug. 22) officers with the Fayette County Sheriff's office took 28 year old Cassandra Brackin of Readlyn into custody, on a valid Fayette County warrant. Brackin was wanted for a Probation Violation. The original charge was Disarming a Police Officer.
Brackin was held in the Fayette County jail on $10,000 bond.
And following a traffic stop in Hawkeye, deputies discovered illegal substances and open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.
28 year old Adriane Ruroden of Fayette was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cannabinol-1st Offense, and Open Container. She was held until her initial court appearance.
