The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating an incident in which several vehicles were struck in an alley in Hawkeye.


Just before 9pm Saturday (March 28), the dispatch received a report of multiple vehicles that were damaged in an alley, north of the 200 block of West Wilbur Street in Hawkeye. Responding officers arrested 52 year old Vincent Rhode of Fayette on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense. Rhode was held until his initial court appearance. Damage to the alley was not determined, but more charges are pending.

A disturbance in Oran Sunday evening, resulted in the arrest of a local woman on assault charges. Responding deputies took 21 year old Arieana Ajroloski of Oran into custody, for Domestic Abuse Assault.

And officers were called out early Monday, to an accident involving a deer on the north edge of Fayette. 57 year old Kimberly Johnson of Fayette was driving north on Highway 150, when a deer ran out onto the road and was struck by her SUV. No one was injured; Johnson's 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer had $3,500 damage.
